My Weekend at the DemocracyFest was fabulous. I was energized by being around nothing but progressive individuals that love our country the same way I do. We were polite, we were friendly and we were very loud and appreciative. People would smile and sit down and talk, not knowing me, but knowing what I stood for.I saw a good movie about how Tom DeLay stole the congress, I heard Al Franken and Mark Maron tell us how screwed up things were but with humor and I listened to David Sirota talk about what we need to do if we want to take back our legistative branch this November. I met and chatted with people from all over the US and especially Texas was well represented, which hopefully will make Kurt proud :) I will just give you a couple of the pictures I took that some of you might enjoy..you know..the funny ones.

Dusty, glad you had a good time.... and those pics are totally great!
Dusty, thanks for your email. My replies to the PeterAtLarge email address are routinely returned, so this is the only means I could find to get back to you. If you write again, could you use the address on my card and let me have an address where I can write to you. I wrote a long reaction to the DemFest today, if you care to check it out. Cheers, Peter
