Iraq Elections today

My day has been full of watching tv, not my usual sporting events, but the news stations. Watching Iraq step into this century has been a strange sensation for me. I am glad they have taken the first step by voting today, my only regret is that they are still occupied by the United States. The Sunni's are not voting so how can this be a true election? In any case, they are making the first baby step to self-rule and for that I am happy and I wish them good luck on their journey towards democracy.
