Oswalt was money tonight..

I think the only way the Stros will win this series is if Oswalt and the Rocket win, which Roy Boy did tonight...reminds me of the D'backs winning year..it was Schilling and Johnson that year...Randy coming in to relieve Schill..but I digress..

Mulder has been a disappointment to me this year..only cuz I had the sumbitch in like 10 fantasy baseball leagues..the Cards should be able to count on Marky Mark to hold the Stro's at bay..but they couldn't, he gave up too many hits to a team that usually has an anemic offense, Julian Tavarez did the rest of the damage from the Cards bullpen. The Killer B's of past years, sans Bags, showed up with Berkie and Biggio having great nights.

Next game Sat...Clemens will be facing Pujols..Prince Albert might not have anyone hitting behind him, with Reggie coming up lame (like thats news) and Walker is MIA for the playoffs..which means they could walk Pujol's ass every time he's up..who knows..I can't wait..

Carpenter will have to come up big in game 5 to send the series back to STL, IMO. As far as Reggie is concerned, he has a "mild back strain", according to the Cards trainer, but no concussion. LaGenius says he's 50-50 for game 3; I think it's more like 20-80.

Well, The Rocket kept us in the game. His first three innings were a wiz and the next three a struggle. Qualles and Lidge did their job. Astros win 4 to 3. I sure hope Backe can hold them today. If he does his job then we have a chance of taking it at home. I would hate to see them go back to St. Louis. I really think this is going to be the year the Astros make it to the World Series. I don't know what will happen then, but we do have a chance. We need to get Biggio making more hits and we need some offense! We can't depend on pitching to do it all.

Sorry Reggie Sanders took such a big fall. Nunez got hurt yesterday and Walker didn't do much for the Cards. Makes for a different line up.

Looks like the Angels have their backs against the wall. Can they pull off a miracle? Who knows.

Yo Dusty! Just stopping by to say I'm still here. Just moved back to Northern California.

How about some football talk? Predictions? Who's your team? Raiders? Niners? Chargers? If it's the Niners, I could see why you're not talking football. ;)
