brown tanks for yank$

Kevin "i hurt myself hitting a water cooler" brown showed what he was made of today giving up a mere 6 runs and 9 hits in 6 innings of work..jeez kev...wish they had left ya in a little longer, you might of gotten into double digits dude.

a quote by georgie porgie after the game sums it up:

"Enough is enough. I am bitterly disappointed as I'm sure all Yankee fans are by the lack of performance by our team," Steinbrenner said in a statement issued immediately after the game.
"It is unbelievable to me that the highest-paid team in baseball would start the season in such a deep funk. They are not playing like true Yankees. They have the talent to win and they are not winning. I expect Joe Torre, his complete coaching staff and the team to turn this around."

my thoughts as well george..you look really bad right now dude..the word "sucker" comes to mind...all that cash to languish in the basement..must be giving you fits mr. steinbrenner... of course i am very happy with the current situation in the AL East..no place better than the basement for those "battery lobbing" fans at yankee stadium...

Why you B@#&*! We'll see where things are in a month or so. I agree with George too. Kevin "Obscenely Overpaid" Brown gave all that up in 1 & 2/3. I thought it would be 34-0 by the time they got to the 5th. I keep hoping that if he sucks enough, they will send him to Columbus (AAA), since no team will ever be dumb enough to trade for him. The cash is no problem. The talk of the new stadium is initially costing $800,000,000 and he's paying for it all. You know it will cost more. The Yank$ make him so much more than that that his $200M payroll is chicken feed. He bought the team for something like 7 or 8 million back in the 70s. Holy incredible investment!

And he punched a wall, which was even more stupid. The water coller might have had some give. Anyone who cannot control a temper is a waste in life & on a team. I've played with morons like that.
