HNT shadows and sunsets.

It's the ball and chain..aka my husband. This was taken a few years ago at our favorite RV spot on the Cali coast, Hobson Beach. Its located in Ventura county. Its a very small, secluded spot with only about 20 RV spots..cool eh?I do not camp..my idea of camping is a "fully stocked" Winnebago, which we have. The great thing about this spot is that you can "rough" it and park right up against the edge of the ocean sans any of the extra's like electricity or cable or plumbing..OR..you can park back from the edge and have the above mentioned items..which is where WE park it..god forbid I don't get to watch any baseball LOL.The view you see is what we see from our RV..its awesome ain't it? When the tide is high, the waves come over the rocks and slap against the RV's in the front row..not hard mind you, just barely touching, caressing the front of your camper with spray from the waves.I love this place and its cheap..about 30 bucks a night..which isn't bad when you consider what you get for that money..the sound of the ocean, a beautiful sunset each night and of course..all those extras. Nothing like camping and being able to watch ESPN or HBO..thats MY idea of a great camping trip..sorry..thats my story and I am sticking to it :)

Edit: I also have a submission for the HNT@theRogue, the San Joaquin Valleys very own performance festival..its not attached to this profile..so if you want to take a gander at it, head on over to here.

Love the HNT site. 'Specially the background... killer.

Awwwww... nice pics of the animals... but I'll tell you what your son Brian is pretty damned sexy.

Yep, Carl Edwards is in fact from here. His dad's shop is 'bout 8 miles from my work. They took one of his cars gutted it and put it on the side of the building. Pretty cool.

Alice, he is a cutie isn't he? I have a better one of him but he kinda looks like a thug in it. He wasn't in a good mood when I took it.

John B..thank you dear! I have a few that actually look like I knew what the hell I was doing :)

IT-chicklet..I didn't get to go this past year cuz of the damn job..broke my friggin heart.

Thanks Wenchy, your sweet to say that.

dusty, i used to sell fabric to a couple of high-end, build to order bus manufacturers (like Prevost and Marathon). Unbelievable vehicles! With prices beginning in the mid-six figure range, i have one question for Bruce - will you adopt me?
stephanie has to be assured there is a working electrical outlet outside our tent when we camp. she has to have somewhere to plug in the coffee-maker...

Kurt, ours is very old and the cheapest model made..so it didn't cost a fortune. Plus its starting to fall apart, but I still love it..its a house on wheels and thats all that matters to me.

B is joshing us..he isn't so dim as to use up his inheritance on an RV..

Go Steph! just an outlet..that IS roughing it :P

Was in an RV-converted bus accident once. Don't like them anymore.
