I was wondering what happened to Primetime Players. Why do they insist on fixing things that ain't broken?
I can't deal with pre-game, halftime or post-game NFL rabble anymore...even the ESPN version on Sunday Night bores me at this point...the babble...don't know what it is, but for the past couple years I've been unable to watch talking heads of any kind on the television, regardless of the topic...even Inside the NFL is no longer a weekly ritual.
You should complain about not getting NFL Network - that REALLY sucks it's not on your TV by now. Great channel - - - now, the Game of the Week...I LOVE those!!!!
All visual, all football players or football coaches, one minute at most of what's his name at the beginning and end, the rest is football.
John Madden makes me want to put in earplugs...in fact, I've been turnign down the sound and listenting to the radio broadcast if available for every game for a couple years now...I figure plenty of other people do it as well because they throw at least an 8 second delay in there now...but my idea is to get the Tivo (someday) and every game synch up the video by delaying it for however long the space is between the two...
Then I'll have those fuckers by the balls!!!
I agree about the Talking heads Al, Madden is past his prime and frankly sounds like a doddering old man most of the time, always talking about "back in the day"..
It's really bad in every sport now...they have their token lines about certain players that they repeat over and over and over, meanwhile they completely miss the nuances. Pathetic...radio is where it's at, they still have to hold it up, and they do for the most part.
They feed us bs, like the evening news Al..no substance.
