It sucks to be vacationing in Atlantic City this week.

Since the asshats in the state government can't pass a budget..all the casino's are closed..as well as many other things that require any government oversight. Wired has a writeup here. There goes that 1.3 Million in cash for the state each day..which obviously they could use at this point.

If that doesn't make you uncomfortable consider that the fucktards in North Korea are shooting off their own brand of fireworks..aimed at us..

i heard about both on NPR this morning. what i wonder is how much of that money the casinos aren't getting will wind up in the economy through restaurant and bar tabs or whether the locals that gamble will just hand it over to bookies....
i think the Dems should put an emphasis on national security in the elections this fall. let's see...afghanistan, iraq and n. korea all in various war stages...every young muslim in the world almost ready to join al-Qeda and even our allies just shaking their heads...

AC is a popular destination for people in my area. Oops...
And N. Korea reminds me of the little dog that keeps nipping at the Rotweiler's feet. Sooner or later, it's gonna get it's head bitten off.

Kurt.on my political blog I have a huge post on what is important to the swing voters..those who actually put Bush into office..please go check it out and give me your opinion?

B..N.Korea is like a two year old..any attention is good attention to them..that batshit-crazy sumbitch will be the death of this universe..

Beth..our world is changing for the worse every day..and I am scared to death...thank goodness I am right w/god..i might be seeing him sooner than I thought.

I still do not see the connection...casinos & government (ok...is one hand washing the other here?)...dickhead Corzin will raise the sales tax to 7% to solve this thing...just because the people in NJ are simple not...I repeat, NOT over fucking taxed enough.

On a lighter note...congrats on the Padres win tonight.

Here in Cali our sales tax is over 7%..
The casino's have state watchdogs onsite at all times..since the state has no budget to pay the state employees..no watchdogs..no casinos..

Thanks..the Padres win one..lose two..go figure :p
