Its a slow but sad news day...

Barbaro was put down today..but in order to lighten your spirits..here is a video of over 100 horses that were saved last year in the Netherlands. It took a few women to figure it out..the men were no help..as usual.

8 people gave us their .02 cents:

Barbaro finally lost out? Man, too bad. Not one mention of this anywhere at CNN.com.

True Dusty. I know they wanted to see if Barbaro was up to mating and legacy. I don't know how much of the decision making by the Jacksons was connected to greed, but I certainly hope none of the vet's judgments were. If so, poor horse. Regardless, RIP Barbaro.

I do think greed was part of it SR..but as you say..hopefully the vet was only concerned about the quality of the horses' life.

cheap shot at the men, dusty. i wasn't a fan but i bet ol' Ronnie Regan woulda been like, "wtf? where is the problem? just go rustle them over here..." The problem is they don't have any cowboys over there!

It was a cheap shot..but I meant it tongue in cheek Kurt. I love men..most of them anyway :)
