Rosa Parks was buried today. This tiny little woman with her glasses sitting on the bridge of her nose has gone on to the other side.
I love what Barack Obama said today about her: "And yet when the history of this country is written, it is this small, quiet woman whose name will be remembered long after the names of senators and presidents have been forgotten."

I loved Rosa Parks. Makes me smile, knowing that one person can make that big of a difference. Also, she's my argument when cynical people complain that nothing ever makes a difference. Man, I should just shoot cynical people. Make the world a better place.
